Basic life support course with AED (automated external defibrillator)
According to the Regulation on the conditions for implementing the public access defibrillation program (NN 120/13), Article 7, before placing an AED device in a designated area, the owner of the AED device is obliged to ensure the training of workers in basic life support measures using the AED device in accordance with the course program from Article 6 of this Regulation.
Basic life support measures using the AED device are performed as part of first aid in cases when a person experiences sudden cardiac arrest and/or respiratory failure until the arrival of out-of-hospital emergency medical personnel.
